This role owns the engineering experience at Supabase, from local development through production deployment, building and optimizing the tools engineers use daily—including CI/CD systems, local environments, testing infrastructure, and AI-assisted workflows. It's suited to someone with deep infrastructure and developer-tools experience who gets satisfaction from removing friction and measuring impact across an engineering organization.

## Required

- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline optimization
- Experience with local development environments and reproducibility tools
- Experience with containerization and image optimization
- Experience with test infrastructure and test orchestration
- Experience with code review and developer workflow tooling
- Experience with monorepo tooling and build systems
- Experience with developer productivity metrics and feedback loops
- Made local development environments stable and reproducible across teams
- Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in async or globally distributed teams

## Nice to have

- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Python, Rust, and shell
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as coding agents and IDE assistants
- Experience with flaky-test management and approaches like mutation or chaos testing
- Passion for developer experience and productivity
