## Summary

LeoLabs is seeking a regulatory leader to build and manage its global spectrum licensing and RF approval function for ground-based radar deployments. This role owns strategy and execution across multiple jurisdictions, from preliminary feasibility through license renewal, requiring deep expertise in RF regulation, government engagement, and multi-country program management.

## Required

- 10+ years in spectrum regulation, frequency licensing, wireless regulatory affairs, or related field
- Experience obtaining spectrum licenses or RF operating approvals with direct regulator engagement
- Working knowledge of RF fundamentals including frequency allocations, bandwidth, emissions, antenna characteristics, propagation, and interference
- Ability to navigate complex or novel regulatory environments with undefined approval pathways
- Project or program management capability across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate into technical and operational actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and credibility with regulators, engineers, and executives
- Strong recordkeeping discipline and documentation standards
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally
- Based in U.S. West Coast (Pacific or Mountain time zones)
- U.S. citizen or eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance

## Nice to have

- Experience with radar, radiolocation, satellite, aerospace, or defense RF systems
- Experience securing spectrum approvals across multiple countries or regions
- Experience with equipment certification, RF/EMC testing, or laboratory certification
- Experience with RF spectrum surveys and spectrum analyzer interpretation
- Experience performing or reviewing RF interference and compatibility analysis
- Existing network of spectrum regulators, consultants, labs, or certification specialists
- Degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, telecommunications, or physics
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project or program management certification
