## Required

- 8+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering
- 3+ years managing software or data engineers in production
- Build and coach high-performing engineering teams
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives with strong delivery discipline and dependency management
- Technical depth in modern data platforms including ingestion, ETL/ELT, distributed processing, and cloud architectures
- Understanding of testing, data quality, observability, incident management, and production reliability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

## Nice to have

- Experience building or operating enterprise-scale data lakehouse or data platform
- Experience with healthcare data (claims, eligibility, clinical, provider)
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, security, and privacy
- Demonstrated success helping teams mature delivery practices and operational discipline during growth
