## Required

- 8+ years in IT, infrastructure, or security with 3+ years managing a hired and developed team
- Hands-on depth in identity, cloud infrastructure, network, and endpoint management with architectural knowledge
- Deep hands-on experience implementing and managing Okta IAM programs
- Experience running a modern SaaS stack (Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Iru, Notion, Microsoft 365) in a fast-paced startup
- Proven experience running a complete security program including SOC 2 Type II, access reviews, incident response, and vendor risk assessment
- Built IT operations end-to-end with intake, SLAs, runbooks, and on-call practices
- Formal change management experience with demonstrated learning from failures
- Experience with iPaaS or integration platform governance (Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, Tray, or similar)
- Budget ownership and capacity planning experience in high-growth environments
- Executive-level influence across functions that do not report to you
- Clear written communication with non-technical stakeholders

## Nice to have

- AI deployment experience in IT or security operations
- Working knowledge of MCP and agent authentication patterns
- Experience supporting distributed global workforce across multiple offices and time zones
- Prior experience as most senior technical person in function at companies of 300-1,500 people
- Familiarity with GTM stack (Salesforce, Snowflake, GitHub, Jira)
- Track record of inheriting functions with known gaps and remediating without team burnout
