## Required

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or finance
- Six or more years of progressive tax experience across corporate and sales/indirect tax
- Public accounting foundation (Big Four or regional firm)
- Tax engine implementation and ERP integration experience
- ASC 740 tax provision and corporate compliance cycle knowledge
- Canadian tax knowledge including GST/HST and provincial sales tax
- Direct CRA interaction experience
- Tax research platform proficiency
- Independent tax law research ability
- Strong organization and self-sufficiency
- Cross-functional advisory experience

## Nice to have

- Master of Science in Taxation (MST) or equivalent graduate tax education
- CPA or CPA Ontario designation
- Generalist tax background across multiple disciplines rather than narrow specialization
