Lead LaunchDarkly's SDK team of senior engineers, overseeing development and maintenance of 35+ open-source SDKs and related infrastructure used by millions of developers. This role combines technical leadership of a polyglot codebase with strategic responsibilities for roadmap prioritization, cross-stakeholder communication, and team development.

## Required

- 5+ years in formal engineering management role
- Experience managing senior engineers
- Led teams building developer-facing software (SDKs, client libraries, public APIs, or open-source projects)
- Working familiarity with multiple programming languages
- Ability to prioritize across many stakeholders and partner with Product Management
- Track record coaching and developing senior engineers including performance management
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with observability practices and comfort with production incident response

## Nice to have

- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source software
