- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- Experience leading a Data Science team
- Track record deploying ML models in production at scale
- Proficiency with Python and SQL
- Experience with scalable ML and cloud frameworks
- Ability to guide teams in technique selection and rigorous solution validation
- Proven success translating business problems into data science initiatives
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to build teams and deliver measurable business value

## Nice to have

- Experience building or scaling shared data science platforms, registries, or enterprise data assets
- Familiarity with merchant risk, fraud, or identity ecosystems
