## Summary

This role provides intensive care management for critically ill and complex newborns in a large academic NICU, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to handle everything from delivery room stabilization to patient discharge. It suits advanced practice providers with neonatal or acute care pediatric training who want to practice independently in a high-acuity tertiary setting.

## Required

- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Tennessee) or Physician Assistant Certified (Tennessee)
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) certification, or PA with NICU experience or NICU PA fellowship
- Master's degree
- Clinical knowledge of neonatal critical care and complex patient management
- Ability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and clinical assessments
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Scope of practice includes prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions

## Nice to have

- 2 or more years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience (qualifies for $15,000 sign-on bonus)
- NICU transport services experience
