## Required

- Deep professional experience building production services from ideation through operations at scale
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals including replication, consistency models, partitioning, and fault tolerance
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating large-scale, high-traffic, high-availability, or multi-tenant systems
- Professional experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers APIs
- Strong database skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL including schema design and query optimization
- Experience with large-scale CI/CD systems and build tooling
- Comfort with Kubernetes and containerized deployments including stateful and multi-tenant patterns
- Experience with observability tooling like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and distributed tracing
- Familiarity with dependency injection patterns and clean service architecture
- Ability to hire and develop engineering talent
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially in remote environments

## Nice to have

- TypeScript and React experience for frontend collaboration
- Experience with Grafana's LGTM+ stack (Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Pyroscope, Alloy)
- Prior experience at large-scale cloud providers or global enterprises with demanding SLA requirements
- Experience designing or operating large-scale build infrastructure, artifact registries, or developer platform tooling
