## Required

- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Production programming skills in Rust and C/C++
- Deep understanding of Rust ownership, lifetimes, traits, generics, concurrency, and unsafe code
- Experience developing systems libraries, runtime components, and developer-facing APIs
- Knowledge of foreign-function interfaces and Rust-C/C++ integration
- Understanding of systems software: performance, concurrency, API design
- Experience with parallel, heterogeneous, or GPU programming
- Contributing to production or open-source software (testing, profiling, benchmarking, packaging, code review)
- Ability to work independently and drive complex projects to completion
- Strong written communication and ability to work in multi-language codebases

## Nice to have

- Deep understanding of CPU/GPU architecture and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with GPU-accelerated stacks (CUDA C++, Python, PyTorch, JAX, Numba, CuPy)
- Proficiency with modern C++ and GPU libraries (Thrust, CUB, libcudacxx)
- Compiler infrastructure experience (LLVM, Clang, MLIR)
- Experience designing safe Rust abstractions over low-level or asynchronous systems
- Exposure to Python interoperability design
- Demonstrated interest in developer tools and library design
