- 1 year of facilities preventative maintenance experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- Willingness to be on call approximately 1 week per month
- Capable of continuous physical labor
- Flexible schedule and willingness to train for on-call technician program

## Nice to have

- AA/AS degree in a technical field
- Facilities Maintenance certification
- Knowledge of building codes such as NEC, UBC, NFC, or UPC
- Knowledge of boilers, chillers, refrigeration, pumps, plumbing, electrical switchgear, generators, or gas systems
- Commercial or industrial building maintenance experience
- Analytical troubleshooting abilities in mechanical and electrical problems
- Willingness to work as apprentice to senior tradesman or millwright
- Welding, machining, carpentry, and plumbing skills
- General knowledge of power and hand tools
