- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years managing engineers with hiring and performance ownership
- Shipped cybersecurity products in production
- Led team from prototype to first paying customers to scaled deployment
- Hands-on technical capability in design reviews and code
- Strong product instincts and decision-making on what to build
- Cross-functional communication across research, product, GTM, and leadership
- Direct customer contact as primary roadmap input
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience

## Nice to have

- Hands-on security expertise in application security, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, incident response, penetration testing, or detection engineering
- Experience building products on LLMs including agentic systems, evals, and prompt iteration
- Experience in strict data-handling environments like BYOC, CMEK, regulated industries, or government
- Startup and enterprise-scale company experience
- Track record translating research capability into shipped product
- Ecosystem partnerships experience and familiarity with MCP, CI/CD, or source-control integrations
