## Summary

Boeing's Phantom Works division is hiring an engineer to design and integrate low-observable materials and propulsion systems for next-generation defense platforms, using electromagnetic simulation and analysis. This role suits experienced professionals with hands-on expertise in stealth materials, radar cross-section reduction, and advanced propulsion integration.

## Required

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 3+ years hands-on experience with low observable materials and technologies
- Experience integrating low observable solutions with advanced propulsion systems
- Understanding of electromagnetic principles for RCS and signature control
- Experience using computational electromagnetic solvers (SENTRI, XPATCH, CARLOS, HFSS, FEKO, or similar)
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

## Nice to have

- Active Top Secret clearance
- Master's or PhD in relevant field
- Experience with full-platform RCS prediction workflows and multi-physics trade studies
- Experience correlating CEM predictions with laboratory and range measurement data
- Knowledge of advanced propulsion concepts and associated low-observable challenges
- Familiarity with materials processing, application methods, environmental durability, and repair/maintenance of low-observable treatments
- Experience with CAD tools and model preparation for electromagnetic simulation
- Strong technical communication skills in written reports and presentations
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
