This role develops the wireless air interfaces and physical layer algorithms for satellite-to-phone communications, bridging gaps in cellular coverage. You'll design modems, optimize signal processing, and validate performance on real hardware—ideal for someone with deep signal processing expertise and hands-on RF engineering experience.

## Required

- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Deep understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms
- Strong knowledge of software defined radios and their implementation
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards including LTE and 5G PHY, MAC, and RRC
- Hands-on lab testing and characterization experience
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, or C++ for algorithm development and simulation
- Experience with test equipment like signal generators and spectrum analyzers

## Nice to have

- Experience implementing DSP algorithms in HDL such as SystemVerilog or VHDL
