## Required

- 12+ years building and operating large-scale distributed cloud infrastructure
- Expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning across the IO stack
- Deep knowledge of distributed state management and data protection at scale
- Mastery of professional software engineering practices and full SDLC
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and design reviews across storage, networking, and virtualization

## Nice to have

- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and MLOps
- Background in high-throughput I/O architectures like DAOS or SPDK
- Expertise in RDMA and high-performance networking including SmartNICs and RoCEv2
- Experience with highly available distributed systems like Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, or Kafka
- Strong theoretical knowledge of CAP Theorem, Paxos/RAFT, consistent hashing, and sharding strategies
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Track record of open-source contributions to projects like Ceph, GlusterFS, or Lustre
