- Direct leadership experience with a small technical or analytical team
- End-to-end ownership of a function or program including vision, roadmap, stakeholders, and outcomes
- Proven track record influencing VP, C-level, and CFO on investment decisions using data and narrative
- Familiarity with AWS and GCP as major cloud platforms and their cost drivers
- Experience building or maturing a FinOps or cloud cost practice such as Showback or Cost to Serve
- Experience with cloud cost management tools

## Nice to have

- AWS and/or GCP architecture and pricing model expertise
- Experience managing or advising on cost for AI/ML platforms, data warehouses, and observability tooling at scale
- Experience in media, subscription, or consumer products at scale
