## Required

- Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license from a US state or territory
- English language proficiency in written and spoken form
- Graduation from a nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE, or equivalent foreign nursing education with degree equivalency validation
- Ability to function proficiently as both circulator and scrub nurse
- Competency across multiple surgical specialties
- Knowledge of current AORN standards and VHA directives
- Ability to wear lead apron for extended periods
- Physical capability for walking, bending, stooping, and lifting in patient care

## Nice to have

- Recent operating room experience as a scrub nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CNOR certification
