## Required

- Five years of patent annuity experience in law firm, corporate legal, or in-house IP organization
- Knowledge of U.S., PCT, EP, and foreign national patent prosecution and maintenance practices
- Experience managing global patent portfolios across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with powers of attorney and notarization/legalization/apostille processes
- Advanced proficiency with IP docketing and annuity management systems
- Advanced proficiency with USPTO Patent Center, EPO, and WIPO databases
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Effective organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and know when to seek attorney guidance
- Discretion with confidential information
- Notary Public Commission or ability to obtain one

## Nice to have

- Associate degree or paralegal certificate
- Experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences patent portfolios
- Prior experience with Clarivate TIPMS, IPManager, First-to-File, or similar systems
- Experience collaborating with third-party annuity providers on global maintenance
- Experience with patent acquisitions, divestitures, or IP portfolio transitions
