## Required

- 10+ years designing digital products with significant B2B SaaS or enterprise software experience
- 4+ years managing and developing product designers
- Experience setting design direction for a product area
- Track record designing intuitive workflows for complex, data-rich products
- Strong product and systems thinking
- Close partnership with Product and Engineering leaders on strategy and delivery
- Deep customer-centered design practice knowledge
- Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual design skills with portfolio
- Experience creating scalable design system patterns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
- Collaborative leadership style with ability to build trust and align teams
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Responsibility for protecting Vanta and customer data

## Nice to have

- Experience designing products in risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, IT, infrastructure, or financial services
- Familiarity with design systems and creating scalable patterns
- Openness to using AI tools throughout the design process
- Experience shipping AI-powered experiences
