- 10+ years of software engineering and technology experience
- 5+ years in trading, market technology, or high-performance data-intensive environments
- Proven record of designing and deploying production-grade trading systems
- Deep expertise in transaction cost analysis, P&L attribution, risk factor modeling, and order routing
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures and event sourcing
- Microservices design and distributed systems expertise
- Experience with data streaming platforms (Kafka, Aeron, Pulsar, or equivalent)
- Hands-on performance optimization and profiling skills
- Ability to drive architectural decisions and deliver production-ready systems
- Technical leadership and mentoring ability

## Nice to have

- Ultra-low-latency optimization experience
- Master's degree rather than Bachelor's
