## Required

- Deep knowledge of modern Python typing (generics, protocols, overloads, TypedDict)
- Experience authoring or maintaining a published library with external users
- Fluency in asyncio and serving both sync and async callers
- Understanding of Python packaging (pyproject.toml, wheels, version support policy)
- Testing as standard practice across unit, type-level, and end-to-end tests
- Clear written communication for design docs and public documentation
- Ability to work autonomously and find important work to scope and ship
