- High school diploma or GED
- Experience welding steel with GMAW (MIG) and/or FCAW in manufacturing or fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Working knowledge of weld quality standards and ability to perform basic visual inspections
- Ability to safely use overhead cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and consistent PPE use
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting and positioning materials
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts including weekends

## Nice to have

- Technical diploma or coursework in welding or fabrication
- Previous experience welding structural or heavy-gauge steel
- Familiarity with AWS welding standards
- Experience in team-based manufacturing environments
- Willingness to learn robotic welding or advanced fabrication skills
