## Summary

## Required

- Four or more years of professional video editing and motion design experience in a newsroom, media organization or production studio
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Portfolio demonstrating YouTube-specific editing (hosted, vlog-style, explainer formats)
- Ability to build tension in hooks, control pacing and navigate tonal shifts
- Comfortable collaborating with reporters, editors and freelancers across the newsroom
- Ability to work in NYC office two days per week
- U.S. work eligibility

## Nice to have

- Experience launching a new YouTube team or project initiative
- On-site production experience with professional camera equipment, lighting and audio
- Digital asset management and video archival workflow experience
- Proficiency in Figma and Google Workspace
