## Required

- 3 to 5 years of professional copywriting experience
- Hands-on experience writing bottom-of-funnel DTC copy (product pages, paid social, retargeting, email, SMS)
- Campaign writing experience with multi-channel examples
- Strong understanding of customer journey and copy's role across funnel stages
- Understanding of performance metrics (open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate)
- Product copy experience (descriptions, benefits, claims)
- Ability to adapt to and maintain an established brand voice
- Excellent grammar, editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Familiarity with project management platforms like Asana
- Demonstrated fluency in Black beauty community, products, retail and visual history
- Based in Los Angeles area; hybrid role requiring in-person presence three days per week in West Hollywood

## Nice to have

- Experience writing within beauty, hair care, body care, wellness or lifestyle brands
- Background working with beauty, textured hair care or lifestyle brands
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Advertising or related field
