## Required

- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in technical leadership or lead engineer role
- Domain experience in digital account opening, loan origination, financial onboarding, or banking technology
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
- Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript
- Experience building and integrating with core banking systems or third-party financial APIs
- Ability to architect scalable, secure, compliant systems in regulated financial environments
- Experience leading engineering teams and driving delivery
- Understanding of KYC/AML compliance, identity verification, and data privacy in financial applications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, microservices, and CI/CD
- Available to work Eastern Time Zone hours
- Located in Canada

## Nice to have

- Direct experience with credit union or community bank account opening or loan origination platforms
- Familiarity with Corelation Keystone, Jack Henry Symitar, Fiserv Portico, or CU Answers
- Experience with Plaid, Socure, Alloy, or DocuSign
- Experience with business banking account opening or commercial onboarding workflows
- Background in conversion optimization for digital financial onboarding flows
