## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of structural analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, or structural life assessment experience
- Team leadership experience (formal or informal)
- Static stress analysis expertise
- Structural mechanics knowledge
- Fatigue and fracture mechanics knowledge
- Understanding of structural failure modes in aerospace hardware
- Proficiency with Nastran or Abaqus
- Experience with Femap or similar pre/post-processing environments
- Proficiency with NASGRO or AFGROW
- Experience converting time-domain or spectral loads into fatigue damage predictions
- Python or MATLAB scripting ability
- Ability to independently scope, execute, review, and defend structural analyses

## Nice to have

- Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Launch vehicle or reusable aerospace systems experience
- Flight-critical hardware experience
- Additive manufacturing structural analysis and fatigue characterization
- Elastic-Plastic Fracture Mechanics (EPFM) familiarity
- Experience correlating structural, fatigue, or fracture predictions with test or flight data
- Prior experience defining structural design allowables or durability standards for aerospace systems
