- 5–8+ years developing software for products in modern C++ or C
- Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies and Design Patterns
- Experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP, I2C, SPI)
- Strong communication and written skills
- Passion for space technology
- Experience building high availability and high reliability systems
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status

## Nice to have

- Embedded Linux or POSIX systems experience
- Python experience
- Experience developing on VxWorks, Linux, FreeRTOS, or QNX
- Demonstrated experience building, testing, and shipping production software
- Safety critical development experience (FDA, FAA, Automotive)
- Board bringup and hardware-software integration debugging experience
