Omada Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead backend development for new cardiometabolic and physical activity experiences, owning architecture end-to-end and mentoring others. This role suits experienced polyglot engineers who thrive in ambiguous, high-ownership environments and want to apply modern AI tools to build scalable healthcare systems.

## Required

- 10+ years writing readable, tested, and efficient code
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure APIs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with LLMs and GenAI best practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development workflows
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and deployment tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Understanding of logging, monitoring, and telemetry
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and principles
