This role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for rocket engine turbopumps at a commercial spaceflight company scaling toward production. You'll bridge design and manufacturing teams, solving novel problems in additively manufactured hardware while taking ownership of critical propulsion system assembly and testing.

## Required

- Engineering degree or related technical field
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Turbopump assembly procedures including rotor balancing, interference fits, clearance checks, and leak checks
- Manufacturing process experience with fluids testing, machining, and additive methods
- Knowledge of assembly and test procedures including tolerance stack-up, structural proof testing, and pressurized leak checks
- Siemens NX or equivalent CAD and analysis tools
- Tooling design experience including conceptualization, modeling, and detailed analysis

## Nice to have

- Experience with additively manufactured engine hardware
- GD&T and ASME Y14.5 knowledge
- Startup or agile development environment experience
- Flight development program experience
