- 8+ years in security roles with at least 2 years in leadership
- Deep technical foundation with ability to review architecture, infrastructure, and code
- Experience building or maturing a security program at early-stage or high-growth companies
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with identity and access management
- Experience with data protection at scale
- Hands-on compliance experience with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Hands-on HIPAA compliance experience
- Ability to operate as both individual contributor and leader

## Nice to have

- Experience securing data pipelines or data-intensive platforms
- Background in data infrastructure companies
- AI/ML experience or selling to technical buyers
- Knowledge of data provenance, lineage tracking, or data governance in ML contexts
- Supply chain security experience
- Prior customer-facing security leadership
