- Experience building for SMB and mid-market customers in an ecosystem of products
- Expertise designing global platform architecture for complex regional tax requirements
- Fluency applying AI/GenAI to tax product problems
- Ability to distinguish configuration changes from genuine capability gaps
- Ability to read primary-source tax law and filing schemas directly
- Domain expertise in book-to-tax logic, entity-type treatment, cross-border withholding and treaty mechanics, and digital filing regimes
- Exceptional prioritization and data-driven decision-making in matrixed organizations
- Ability to own a domain end-to-end and set product strategy across engineering, legal, and compliance
- Ability to influence beyond direct team across the portfolio and up to executive leadership
