- Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in or accepted to Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM discipline
- Demonstrated experience in high-reliability, safety-critical operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow technical procedures and engineering drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to commit to full-time schedule during academic breaks and part-time during school terms

## Nice to have

- Military background in airfield, maintenance, logistics, or technical operations
- Familiarity with mechanical or aerospace systems and components
- Experience with CAD tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
- Prior internship, co-op, vocational, or applied engineering lab experience
- NFPA, ARFF, NIMS, or equivalent safety certifications
- Long-term aspiration toward Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
