- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years developing and maintaining backend infrastructure in production
- Track record building and deploying scalable, high-performance backend systems
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment technologies like AWS
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a startup environment
- Strong communication and collaborative teamwork
- Willingness to problem-solve across the entire product
- Proactive identification of problems and solutions
- Results-oriented mindset

## Nice to have

- Experience working with audio
- Experience taking a backend system from zero to one
- Experience building systems integrating with many third-party APIs, particularly POS systems
