- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Open Water SCUBA certification
- Pass SeaWorld pre-employment and post-employment swim test and diving physical
- Working knowledge of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to frequently lift, pull, and push 50 pounds
- Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods in extreme weather
- Willing to work flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays
- Ability to receive CPR certification
- Flexible in work locations based on business needs
- Consistently practice safe work habits including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Willing to comply with SeaWorld grooming guidelines and employment standards
- Successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements

## Nice to have

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Biology or related field
- College background in psychology, zoology or biology
- Marine mammal experience
- Guest service experience
