- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or similar engineering with 2 years of thermal technologies experience, or Master's degree with related thermal experience
- Proficient understanding of thermal-fluid engineering fundamentals
- Experience with thermal-fluid system design and analysis software (Thermal Desktop, Ansys Thermal, or Amesim)
- Proficiency in analytical/scientific programming languages (Python, C/C++, Matlab, Fortran)
- Effective verbal and written communication
- ITAR eligibility as a U.S. Person

## Nice to have

- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with thermal vacuum chamber (TVAC) testing of space hardware
- Computational Fluid Dynamics experience (Ansys FLUENT or CFX)
- Experience with space or lunar systems design
- Experience taking concepts from initial idea to final product
- Experience designing or analyzing thermal control system components (heaters, sensors, radiators, multi-layer insulation, coatings, heat pipes)
