Visa is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the evolution of their middleware operations from traditional SRE into an AI-driven software engineering organization. This role combines designing reliable, scalable automation systems with hands-on agentic AI development, production incident leadership, and mentorship of junior engineers across a global payments infrastructure.

## Required

- 5+ years software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree, or a PhD

- DevOps tools experience (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
