- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and commissioning tooling and fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and test
- Proficiency with CAD and FEA-based analysis software for structural applications
- Full-cycle project completion experience
- Strategic buildout and project management experience for production tooling

## Nice to have

- Design for manufacturability and design for assembly expertise, from prototype to production
- Understanding of common manufacturing materials, GD&T, and tolerance and stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and machines including mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal bending, lifting/rigging, and inspection
- Custom machine design experience with motors, actuators, linear rails, pneumatics, and bearings
