## Required

- 8+ years building and operating backend or platform systems at scale
- Experience with authentication, authorization, or security-adjacent infrastructure
- Deep care for reliability and security in design and operations
- Comfort owning large migrations in live, high-traffic systems
- Product-focused approach to platform work with emphasis on usability for other engineers
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make independent technical decisions
- Clear communication with cross-functional partners
- Familiarity using AI tools in software development workflow
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

## Nice to have

- Experience with globally distributed databases and multi-region service architecture
- Prior work on enterprise identity integrations with major identity providers and cloud IAM systems
