## Required

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 3+ years designing and implementing robotic control systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex automation system issues
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, CANbus, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET)
- Understanding of functional safety standards (ISO13849, ISO61508) and risk assessment (ISO12100)
- Experience with motion control, kinematics, servo control, and robot calibration
- Revision control proficiency (Git or equivalent)

## Nice to have

- Structured Text and PLC programming experience
- CAD/CAM electrical schematic and mechanical design experience
- Agile development methodology experience
- Control theory and system identification knowledge
- Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, Javascript, or ROS
- Linux and bash scripting experience
- Advanced motion control techniques (trajectory planning, servo control)
- Computer vision and sensor fusion for automation
- Systems test engineering and V&V processes
