## Summary

This role owns silicon speed characterization and validation for NVIDIA's AI processors, from first power-on through production. You'll close the gap between pre-silicon predictions and measured silicon performance, trace frequency failures to their root cause, build AI-driven test automation, and provide the data that settles architectural tradeoffs across the company.

_Our summary, not NVIDIA's wording._

## Skills named

C++, Perl, Python, Static Timing Analysis

## Required

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years hands-on silicon experience: bring-up, post-silicon speed validation, frequency characterization, or timing analysis
- Computer architecture fundamentals including pipeline structures, clocking, and memory hierarchies
- Depth in static timing analysis and critical path identification
- Proficiency in silicon margining, guard-banding, and PVT/binning dependencies
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Perl, or C/C++

## Nice to have

- Closed the prediction-to-silicon loop with a correlation methodology that other teams adopted
- Traced a frequency miss to a specific critical path or process corner and driven the fix through
- Built or deployed AI-driven flows for characterization or analysis with documented guardrails
- Background in datacenter-scale or high-performance silicon
