- Expert-level proficiency in Python (data manipulation and backend services)
- Moderate proficiency in C++
- Production microservices design and delivery at scale
- gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and RESTful API design expertise
- Hands-on experience with at least one of: OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Neo4j

## Nice to have

- L4–L7 networking, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, and load-balancing knowledge
- Data pipeline experience for security and intelligence platforms (threat detection, anomaly detection, predictive analytics)
- Time-series data, stream processing, and large-scale data visualization backend expertise
- Python data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn)
- Kubernetes and Temporal (or Cadence) workflow management experience
