## Required

- High school diploma or GED or equivalent technical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and automotive repair knowledge
- Experience with vehicle systems and diagnostic tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDL Class A with Passenger and Tanker endorsements
- Physically capable of demanding mechanical work
- Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Fundamental knowledge of vehicle data acquisition systems
- Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and wiring
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and computer-based diagnostic tools
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and documentation skills

## Nice to have

- Current CDL Class A with Passenger and Tanker endorsements
- Experience testing medium- or heavy-duty commercial vehicles
- Experience with prototype vehicle builds
- Experience with vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition systems
- Knowledge of emissions, powertrain, durability, or performance testing
- Fabrication and welding experience
- Experience with axle, driveline, suspension, and braking systems
