## Required

- 5+ years of professional software engineering or data engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with modern data architectures (data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses)
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for production systems
- Working knowledge of distributed computing and cloud-native technologies
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or equivalent
- Data engineering best practices (quality, lineage, governance, observability)
- Practical experience using Generative AI tools to improve workflows or platforms

## Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, Delta Live Tables, MLflow, Model Serving)
- Experience with NoSQL datastores (document, graph, key-value, wide-column, search-oriented)
- Experience with Generative AI application patterns (RAG, knowledge graphs)
- Experience working with sensitive data in regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, privacy-heavy)
