This is a versatile entry-level maritime role aboard oil tankers operating between Alaska and the US West Coast, where you'll rotate between deck, engine, and galley duties depending on operational needs. ## Required

- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- U.S. Passport
- Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
- Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC)
- Able to be away from home for periods exceeding two months
- Able to push/pull up to 200 pounds
- Able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds floor to shoulder
- Able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds from floor to overhead
- Able to climb ladders and stairs up to 200 feet
- Able to perform equipment maintenance
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to physically attend vessels including confined space entry
- Able to work in harsh weather conditions
- Able to work alone frequently

## Nice to have

- 1+ years experience on crude oil tanker
- 1+ years experience on product tanker
- 1+ years experience operating mechanical winch
- 1+ years experience operating crane
- Able Seafarer-Engine endorsement on MMC
- Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch (RFPEW) endorsement
- Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) endorsement
- Able Seafarer–Deck endorsement
- Basic Oil Tanker Cargo Operations endorsement
- Basic Training endorsement
- Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD) endorsement
- Security Awareness endorsement
- Ordinary Seaman endorsement
- Wiper endorsement
- Steward's Department Food Handler (FH) endorsement
- Tankerman Assistant endorsements
- RFPNW training completion or endorsement
- Willing to work overtime
