## Required

- 6+ years building and operating backend or platform services in production
- System design skills for distributed systems and API platforms
- Production experience in Golang, Python, or another modern language
- Deep experience with at least one public cloud provider, preferably AWS
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform as tested, reusable software
- Cloud security fundamentals including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Bias toward automating manual work and eliminating toil

## Nice to have

- Experience building internal platforms, developer tooling, or account vending systems
- Experience treating an internal platform as a product with focus on adoption and developer experience
- Familiarity with service-to-service networking, service mesh, workload identity, or rate limiting
- Strong Linux systems and networking fundamentals
