## Summary

This role pairs a machine learning engineer with autonomy teams to drive adoption of Torc Sim, the company's simulation platform for testing autonomous driving models. You'll own the full data pipeline from ingestion through metrics evaluation, become an expert on your assigned model domain, and translate between the platform team and autonomy engineers to shape the product roadmap.

## Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field plus 4+ years demonstrated experience, or Master's degree plus 2+ years experience
- Strong Python skills and experience building or operating data pipelines at scale
- Experience working with simulation, replay, or model validation
- Familiarity with autonomy or robotics ML models (perception, tracking, prediction, or planning) and their data
- Comfort working across cloud storage and compute
- Strong cross-team communication skills
- Hands-on problem-solving approach

## Nice to have

- Forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or embedded platform role experience
- Hands-on experience with Camera, Lidar, Vehicle Intent, or Object Tracking models
- Experience with simulation or replay frameworks for autonomous vehicles or robotics
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Foxglove, OpenGL, or Three.js
- Experience with large sensor data formats and processing tools
- Experience with distributed compute or orchestration frameworks
- Infrastructure-as-code and CI system experience
