## Required

- 12+ years progressive accounting experience combining public accounting and in-house public company reporting
- CPA or Chartered Accountant designation
- Direct public company experience with hands-on ownership of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Deep technical mastery of US GAAP, SEC regulations, XBRL, and revenue recognition standards
- Proven track record managing external specialists and auditors
- Experience recruiting, hiring, and scaling accounting teams

## Nice to have

- Strong executive presence explaining complex accounting topics to leadership and auditors
- Ability to design internal controls across accounting operations without a dedicated internal audit team
- High adaptability for scaling operations in newly public environment
- Direct exposure to NetSuite environments
