## Required

- 2+ years of professional data science, machine learning, statistics, or data analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or similar field
- Deep Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL skills
- Hands-on experience building and evaluating machine learning and statistical models
- Working knowledge of experimentation and causal inference
- Experience deploying or maintaining at least one model in production using Git and orchestration tools
- Experience building features from large event-level datasets
- Ability to review, test, and debug code from AI coding assistants
- Passion for data storytelling and explaining results to non-technical stakeholders

## Nice to have

- Advanced degree
- Spark or PySpark experience
- Exposure to uplift or heterogeneous treatment effect modeling
- Experience with model monitoring and drift detection
- Experience with marketing incentives, promotions, loyalty, or retention programs
- Experience with models that balance competing goals like volume and cost
