## Required

- 8+ years in power electronics, electrical equipment, or industrial energy systems
- 4+ years in NPI or product development role owning prototype-to-ramp cycle
- Hands-on experience with at least two of: BESS, utility/data-center inverters, medium-voltage transformers/switchgear, UPS, STATCOM, or liquid cooling systems
- Working knowledge of UL 9540/9540A, UL 1741, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, IEC 62477/62909, IEEE C37/C57, NFPA 70/855, UL 1778
- Experience defining and executing EVT/DVT/PVT, FAT/SAT, type testing, and reliability testing with disciplined root cause analysis and CAPA
- Familiarity with supplier factory environments and ability to assess production readiness
- Understanding of design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test principles
- Systems thinking across inverters, batteries, transformers, and cooling loops
- Clear written and verbal communication across engineering, supply chain, and executive audiences
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or power engineering or equivalent
- Willingness to travel 30–40% to supplier factories and data center sites, including internationally

## Nice to have

- Experience with solid-state transformers, grid-forming inverters, E-STATCOM, or emerging power-conversion equipment
- NPI or product engineering at a hyperscaler, utility-scale developer, or Tier-1 power OEM
- Background in grid interconnection, protection coordination, or power-system modeling
- Liquid cooling product introduction experience (CDU, rear-door, direct-to-chip, immersion)
- Reliability engineering credentials (CRE) or HALT/HASS program experience
- Firmware and controls validation for power conversion equipment
- Experience standing up or scaling new supplier manufacturing lines, including contract and international sites
