- 6+ years of relevant work experience with a relevant PhD, or 8+ years with a relevant Master's degree
- Proven track record solving complex business problems with data science and ML solutions
- End-to-end data science development experience: planning, defining success criteria, building buy-in, delivering solutions
- Strong practical ML and statistics knowledge to scope and execute solutions quickly
- Ability to communicate outcomes and progress to senior management and stakeholders
- Production code writing and testing experience
- Detail-oriented approach to informing business-critical decisions
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and residence in the United States

## Nice to have

- Background or familiarity with identity solutions, fintech, or adjacent industries
- Experience at a startup
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art ML solutions
- Background in fraud detection
